FLEET DESCRIPTION 

The Pelamis Group is building a state of the art fishing fleet, that will comprise Ultra Low Temperature Long-line Fishing Vessels of similar design and build, two Ultra Low Temperature Purse seiner Vessels and two fleet support vessels.

All ULT Long-liners are equipped as specialist “Sashimi” vessels, making them capable of catching, processing, freezing and storing fish for the highly lucrative Japanese market. All being in International Class (Survey), and covered by full international MARPOL and ISM conventions and regulations, conforming with all Australian requirements.

The modern purpose built Tuna Purse seiner Vessels are similarly equipped, making them capable of catching, processing, freezing and storing up to 1200-ton of fish for the highly lucrative Japanese market.

The fleet development time line is two years, commenced March 2019, and continuing to mid 2021.
